our story

In 1727, Benjamin Franklin started a club to improve society. He believed that if he brought together a group of talented, hardworking people from various disciplines, in an atmosphere devoid of ego, the creativity and magic would flow. Out of this club came the first documented discussions of volunteer firemen, public hospitals, public libraries, and many other things.

He called it the Junto.
