After Bell Labs vacated the building in 1966, famed American architect Richard Meier set out to renovate the complex into an affordable living space for artists called WestBeth. The building finally opened in 1970, and was soon declared a national historic landmark. By 2007, people were waiting over 15 years just to get a chance at living there! Eventually, the waiting list was permanently closed. Junto Sounds' new studio sits on the twelfth floor of this famed building - in the actual room where Alexander Graham bell once brainstormed some of the world's greatest inventions.
