Imagine Dragons’ ‘Radioactive’ just went diamond. Aside from being the longest-running song in the history of the Billboard charts (it spent 87 weeks there), the hit single is now RIAA certified diamond. Even though it hasn’t hit the 10 million mark (which used to be the criterion for diamond status), it’s sold an impressive 7.7 million tracks. Only a small handful of songs have accomplished this impressive feat with digital sales, and only one track (Elton John’s ‘Candle in the Wind/The Way You Look tonight’) has done it with physical sales. To top it all off, ‘Radioactive’ has been streamed over 366 million times. Quite a milestone.
